New Year - New ME?

Hmmm... nope.
The first day of the new year is usually very important for many of us, we wanna start a new hobby, get up earlier, be more organized, the list goes on. There’s also a tendency to set up too many goals aka resolutions, and then only watching all those days passing without being serious. Because that shit is hard, it’s difficult to be suddenly a new person and start smashing all the points from the endless list at the same time.
Commencing and especially keeping a healthy habit is an art! If you are an artist, hell yeah, you can do it (or not)!
I've been practising my art skills for some years and I still think that today is the day if you feel like you really want it! Not the New Year, not your birthday, not your pet's party... the time is when you make it work!
For many of us, the beginning of the year is a great motivator to start, but how many of us will enjoy it in a long run? This year I have some goals in mind but I wanna keep it easy at the same time. That’s why I spent the whole day in bed, it was raining anyways (and... and it was sunday) so I didn’t wanna be too hard on myself. It felt weird, I admit, that I ain’t used to rest that much without being active, but it was okay after all.
So no planting, no planning… nothing. Except for feeding the animals (and ourselves) of course :)

Anyway, I decided to write about everyday experience on the land. It’s partly because I'd like to keep a track of activities in order to see all the changes and improvements that have been made. But also you might find yourself in the same situation as we had been before and hesitate if you should jump into this adventure.
Also those five months spent on the land passed like nothing, really fast. And not to mention that the new year is here and with that also new resolutions. I don’t have almost any this year (or my list isn't that long this time at least), except for this one.
Keep you updated about what’s happening on the land!
There’s still work that has to be done (and it should have been done before the year ended), such as:
- Make a budget for this year
- Set clear (but reachable) goals and aims
- Start working on branding (as we wanna be able to sell our products)
- Be active on social media
- Start a YT channel
But we won't be(e) scared to improvise either! You also shouldn't be!

Back to the question thought:
Is the first day of the year crucial for you, do you see it as an opportunity to change your life or on the opposite, you don’t really care about it?
